Former Audi UK Managing Director Jeremy Hicks has assumed a similar role at Jaguar Land Rover UK.
His appointment, effective from 1st November, sees the two brands come under one person’s leadership having previously had their own MDs.
Hicks takes over from Geoff Cousins at Jaguar and Colin Green at Land Rover. Cousins has been appointed Director, Jaguar Global Sponsorships & Partnerships, and part of his new role will see him build on the Jaguar ‘Academy of Sport’ concept, which he developed through his tenure in the UK.
Green is now Director, Global Dealer Operations, working on the long-range retail strategy and growth of dealer development on a global basis for both brands.
Hicks begin his career at Vauxhall UK, in roles including Sales Operations Director and Sales and Marketing Director for Aftersales. He later worked for VW UK in several senior roles before becoming Audi UK’s MD in 2005.
During Hicks’s time at Audi the brand has developed into a major premium player with a host of new model introductions.
Hicks describes his new role as a fantastic opportunity to lead two iconic brands in their home market.
“Both Jaguar and Land Rover have their strongest ever product line up and I am very much looking forward to working with the JLR team to achieve continued success in the UK market,” he adds.
