Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC today reported September 2011 sales. Land Rover sales for the month were 2,740 up 10 percent from 2489 in September 2010. Jaguar sales for the month were 1111, up 15 percent percent from 967 in September 2010. Jaguar Land Rover North America combined sales for the month were 3,851 up 11 percent from 3456 units in September 2010.
For the full year 2011, Jaguar Land Rover North America is up 9 percent with 34,965 units sold.
"We are pleased to see growth in both brands as we start to ramp up availability of the new Model Year 12 vehicles," said Andy Goss, President, Jaguar Land Rover North America. "For the Land Rover brand we expect even greater growth driven by the October launch of the fuel efficient Range Rover Evoque."
Land Rover's U.S. sales in September were up 10 percent. The Range Rover Sport was the volume leader
with 1,232 units sold, a 37 percent increase from 897 units in 2010. LR4 sales increased 20 percent to 534 units from 446 in September 2010.
For the year, Land Rover sales are 25,650 units, up 15 percent versus 2010.
Land Rover's 2012 Model Year line-up features four models: The 230-hp 3.2 liter I6 powered LR2; the
LR4 powered by the 375-hp 5.0 liter V8; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, both available with the
naturally-aspirated 375-hp V8 and 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrains.
The Model Year 12 Range Rover Evoque luxury compact SUV goes on sale in October. The 2012 Range Rover Evoque will have a starting price of $43,995 for the five-door, and $44,995 for the coupe and achieves 28 MPG EPA highway and 18 MPG EPA city.
The Model Year 12 lineup features updated versions of the Jaguar XF and
XK models with revised interior and exterior styling, and new models
such as the high-performance 550-hp XKR-S. Jaguar's 2012 Model Year line-up features three models:

Jaguar Highlights
Jaguar sales are up 15 percent for the month with 1,111 units sold.
- The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by either the naturally-aspirated 385-hp V8, the 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 or the 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8;
- The Jaguar XF sports sedan powered by either the naturally-aspirated 385-hp V8, the 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 or, in the XFR, the 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrains; and
- The XK coupe and convertible sports cars powered by either the naturally-aspirated 385-hp V8, or for the XKR, the 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrains. For 2012, Jaguar has added its highest performance model ever, the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S coupe with a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain.
