New York, New York - Land Rover is launching an interactive, multi-city consumer experience to launch its all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque, debuting this fall. The tour, launching in Pebble Beach, CA on August 18, provides consumers with the opportunity to sign up for a test drive of the lightest and most fuel efficient Range Rover ever produced.
In addition to test drives, the Range Rover Evoque experience provides a one-on-one experience where consumers interact with and learn more about the first new Range Rover model since 2005. Following its debut at Pebble Beach, the tour will travel to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Miami and San Francisco.
Land Rover will have a significant presence throughout the Pebble Beach Weekend, including multiple test drive opportunities of the brand's 2012 model line up: the all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque will be at Peter Hay Hill (Thursday - Saturday); Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, LR4 and Range Rover Evoque will be showcased at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering (Friday) and Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and LR4 will be available to test drive at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (Friday - Sunday).
"Land Rover is elated to provide consumers with an opportunity to not only learn more about the all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque, but to experience it, first-hand, by getting behind the wheel and taking it for a test drive," said Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America. "We could not think of a more ideal place to launch the Range Rover Evoque Experience tour than Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, the ultimate event for auto enthusiasts."
The all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque targets a whole new generation of brand enthusiasts. The vehicle redefines Range Rover for an urban world: think lighter, think recycled materials, think efficiency and responsible design that make it one of the most sustainable cars in its class. The vehicle starts at $43,995, including destination and delivery, and will be available in two versions: a coupe and a five-door. The two versions are identical in overall length and width; however, the five-door has a 1.18-inch higher roofline. Every Range Rover Evoque destined for the United States will be equipped with all-wheel-drive and will feature a 240-horsepower, turbocharged, direct fuel injected, four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. Customers can personalize their vehicle with an array of design, trim and technology options to meet their particular taste and lifestyle.
