TATA Motors launched its much awaited SUV Tata Aria 4x2 for Chandigarh and Punjab circle on Friday; the model is a crossover of SUV Tata Aria 4x4.
It is said Aria 4x2 would give stiff competition to Toyota Innova. New Aria would be available in three models- Prestige, Pleasure and Pure. The top most model of the Aria is Prestige, and compared to two other models, it would have added 16 features. According to Rajesh Nayar, Country Head, Tata Motors utility vehicles, the base model with BS III version, would be priced at Rs 11.57 lakhs, and the top model is available at Rs 14.47 lakhs.
The car has already been launched in South, and is registering great sales.
This new car would provide some novel features, like four wheel drive option, and is the perfect blend of sedan’s luxury and power of an SUV.
It has many exciting features like automatic darkness sensing lights, rain sensing wipers, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs (Outside Rear View mirrors), roof utility space, wraparound dual barrel head lamps, premium leather upholstery, and also a reverse guide camera, but its best feature is its in-dash navigation system and the driver information system.
The ‘safety’ factor has been given due consideration, by providing disc brakes on all four wheels Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Break force Distribution (EBD) and dual airbags.
