Snapdeal, the online retail website sells premium brand products ranging from apparels, jewellery, books, shoes and electronics and much at best bargained prices is soon going introduce another product in its discount line and that is a car deal.
The online website has tied up with Tata Motors to get Indica Vista in their discount products line and would draft a plan for car deal, providing great discounts which they cannot get anywhere else. After reviewing its success, they would introduce more models for the deals.
E-Commerce is the buzz word in today's technologically advanced world, where from e-banking to e- ticketing each and every thing gets done in just two- minutes. Tony Navin, Vice-President of business development said, "Ecommerce business in India is showing resurgence and consumers are not fighting shy of deal sizes that cross Rs 20,000-25,000 while he further added "We are introducing products that are bulkier in value and form and plan to offer car deals at discounts one won't find anywhere else".
According to reports, the number of online buyers has jumped to 70% that is from 10 million to 17 million and internet surfers have grown by 28% to 100 million in 2010.
With such stealing prices, Tata Motors is also offering corporate discounts under which Tata car buyer employed in a public or private corporate firm stands to gain cash discounts ranging from Rs 2,500 to Rs 8,000.
